Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent OR 1+ year of relevant experience
- Valid forklift certification required
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
- Basic computer and inventory tracking skills
We are hiring a Supply Inventory Technician to support warehouse and inventory operations for a Marion County department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, and distribute materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and track usage
- Organize storage areas and ensure proper handling of materials
- Assist with inventory records, tracking, and reporting
- Support internal teams and provide customer service to staff and the public
- Help manage incoming/outgoing shipments and materials flow
- Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory setting
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills and ability to track quantities and data
- Warehouse and indoor work environment with occasional outdoor exposure
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs as needed
