The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for the daily functions of the purchasing department. This includes: issues, pars, pick, delivery, stock & non stock items, receiving, labeling, crash carts and operating purchasing computer system. They also communicate regularly with other departments; perform inventory counts and other tasks as needed within the department. Provides proper movement of supplies; stocks warehouse with received goods;
ensures proper issuance and delivery of all supplies and equipment to various departments of the hospital. Enters inpatient and outpatient charges with physician charges to accounts. Distributes Interoffice and Outgoing Mail to proper departments.
- Processes stock requisitions by accurately picking supplies and materials for customers.
- Maintains warehouse by stocking supplies, rotating stock, monitoring expiration dates and general cleaning.
- Aware of the necessary procedures to follow when refrigerated or frozen items are received.
- Cross trained to perform all functions of warehousing, i.e., receiving, delivery, distribution, forklift operation and driving delivery truck.
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness of internal and external warehouse areas.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 6 months healthcare or warehouse experience Required
