Stand Up Forklift Operator - Shipping

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and electric pallet jack as needed.
• Inspect product being received for damages.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as needed.
• Pick point of sales orders for customer pickups.
• Perform stock rotation of product.
• Receive trucks in a timely and accurate manner and load/unload tractor‑trailer trucks per P.O. requirements.
• Follow appropriate protocols and inspect machinery before and after use.
• Scan and place labels on products according to requirements.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Maintain accurate inventories.
• Maintain facility through housekeeping, keeping product and facility secure, and maintaining assets.
• Slot products accurately into rack systems in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Forklift and OSHA certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform tasks such as reading labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, and oral/written instructions.
• Familiarity with CK31 & CK71 scanners an plus.
• Good judgement to operate forklifts safely and to handle customer products efficiently.
• Ability to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperatures.
• Physical capability to stand, sit, walk, twist, lift, carry, push, or pull inventory daily.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull 20–100 lbs.
• Ability to operate various types of forklifts and handheld scanners with training.
