Duties And Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the shift supervisor, directs the activities of one or more areas in an efficient manner for the desired quality and quantity of work.

• Leads receiving team members, mentors and motivates team members ensuring productivity.
• Facilitates team operations through the sharing of information and knowledge, identification of teamwork issues, encouraging suggestions, development of problem‐solving recommendations, and recommendations of standardizing team.
• Monitors team members to identify and provide training as needed or required.
• Informs supervisor of operating and/or employee issues.
• Collects and submits reports specific to team data as requested.
• Keeps records of departmental activities.
• Ensures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
• Functions as a team member and carries out duties and responsibilities assigned to the team.
• Serves as a resource and content expert to team members; providing them with guidance and being available to answer questions to clarify the work activities.
• Relays or helps team members with new or revised policies, procedures and /or processes to team members to ensure they have the most up‐to‐date and current information.
• Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Ability to operate a forklift & valid driver’s license
• Enforce the organization and storage of the raw materials warehouse
• Performs other duties as required or directed.

• Ability to read and interpret regulations and policies in accordance with Company guidelines
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to effectively enforce applicable regulations and policies
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments and customers
• Proven leadership skills
• Able to train and motivate department personnel
• Ability to work flexible hours depending upon the needs of the department
• Proficient with computers and software (ie--Excel, Word, SB Client)
