Description Shop Worker Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Worker to support daily operations by assisting with material handling, organization, and basic maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.

• Load and unload materials and products using safe manual handling techniques
• Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate storage and accessibility
• Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on tools, equipment, or materials as needed
• Prepare items for delivery, pickup, or internal use
• Assist team members with staging, packing, and general shop tasks
• Follow all company safety procedures and workplace guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment
• Support overall shop operations as directed by supervisors

• Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, or similar environment preferred
• Ability to lift and move materials (typically 25–50 lbs regularly, heavier with assistance)
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Ability to bend, kneel, and reach as needed

• Indoor shop or warehouse environment
• Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures depending on the facility
• Fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting

• Forklift certification (a plus, not required)
• Basic mechanical or repair skills
• Experience with tools, equipment, or inventory handling
• Familiarity with shop or warehouse processes
