Position: Administrative Assistant - 12 months (Anticipated)

Administrative Assistant (12 months) – FLOSSMOOR SCHOOL DISTRICT 161

Are you looking for an administrative assistant position in a fast‑paced environment where your experiences can vary every day? Do you like working with teachers, students, parents, and other office staff? Would you like to bring your customer service‑oriented approach into a school to contribute to a positive and pleasant office? Then, our administrative assistant position may be right for you!

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate communicating information, problem solving, material acquisition, cash handling, and record keeping for the school and the public
  • Assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office so that the maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized
  • Work alongside other administrative assistants in the front office to provide amazing service to our students and parents
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous clerical or secretarial experience preferred (not required)
  • Ability to learn and use all pertinent software systems; training will be provided
Position Details
