Select Savvy is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker for a full-time, on-site position in Flossmoor, IL. This role focuses on supporting students’ well-being while working closely with school staff in a collaborative environment. - Address concerns within the school setting, including peer conflict, behavioral difficulties, and overall well-being.
- Keep accurate and confidential documentation regarding student health and progress.
- Partner with families, teachers, and staff to promote positive student outcomes.
- Develop and carry out intervention plans for students experiencing challenges at home or in school.
- Track and report on student growth, behavior, and engagement.
- Connect students and families with appropriate community or mental health resources.
- Stay current on best practices in youth mental health and behavioral support.
- Provide educators with strategies for engaging and supporting students who may be at risk.
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
