Summary
The Senior Product Management Specialist is responsible for supporting the commercial success, ongoing management, and operational alignment of Budget Blinds’ Vendor Alliance Partners (VAPs). This role supports the end-to-end vendor relationship from onboarding through ongoing performance management, ensuring vendors are positioned to grow sales, support franchisees, and deliver value to the system.
This position serves as a primary point of contact for assigned Vendor Alliance Partners and acts as an internal coordinator across Product Management, Catalog Management, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Vendor Alliance teams. The role is business-facing and relationship-driven, with responsibility for vendor coordination, performance reporting, promotional execution, financial insights, and overall vendor health, in alignment with strategic direction set by Product leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Product Managers retain primary ownership of vendor onboarding activities, including vendor qualification, assortment definition, pricing alignment, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring catalog and business readiness for beta. The Senior Product Manager Specialist supports this process by partnering closely with Product Managers and vendors to facilitate coordination, provide commercial input, and help ensure a smooth progression into beta and launch phases.
- Coordinate vendor introductions and onboarding meetings with internal stakeholders and vendor leadership.
- Partner with the Product Management team to ensure vendors are prepared to progress into technical onboarding once business approval is complete.
- Support vendor readiness from a business standpoint prior to beta or launch, including alignment on commercial terms, programs, and expectations.
- Serve as a primary relationship contact and day-to-day liaison for assigned Vendor Alliance Partners.
- Coordinate and lead recurring vendor meetings, including monthly check-in meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), focused on performance, issues, opportunities, and alignment.
- Manage vendor-related issues from an operational and business perspective, including order-related issues, escalations, and coordination with Product Management for resolution.
- Identify vendor performance risks and opportunities and support corrective action plans or growth initiatives as appropriate.
- Collaborate with Vendor Alliance Partners on vendor compliance, suspensions, reinstatements, and adherence to alliance standards.
- Monitor vendor sales performance and trends using DOMO, including weekly, monthly, and year-to-date (YTD) reporting.
- Prepare and review sales performance and financial reports, identifying insights, risks, and opportunities across historical results and forward-looking projections.
- Partner with Finance and Product leadership to support sales forecasting and financial planning, including bottoms-up vendor forecasts, validation of financial assumptions, and identification of potential risks or upside opportunities relative to the financial plan.
