Position OverviewWin Kids is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Pre‑School Teacher. As a Pre‑School Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and enriching learning environment for young children, fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through a variety of age‑appropriate activities and experiences.
Responsibilities- Curriculum Planning:
Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with Win Kids' educational philosophy and meets the needs and interests of preschool‑aged children. - Lesson Delivery:
Lead and facilitate engaging and interactive lessons and activities across various subject areas, including language arts, math, science, social studies, art, and physical education. - Promote Social
Skills:
Foster the development of social skills, cooperation, and teamwork among preschoolers through group activities, games, and collaborative projects. - Provide Individualized Instruction:
Assess the abilities and progress of each child and provide individualized support, guidance, and instruction to address their unique learning needs and strengths. - Encourage Creativity:
Encourage creativity, exploration, and self‑expression through art, music, movement, and imaginative play, providing opportunities for children to express themselves and develop their creativity and confidence. - Promote Language Development:
Facilitate language‑rich environments and activities that promote vocabulary development, literacy skills, and communication skills, including storytelling, reading aloud, and group discussions. - Support Physical Development:
Provide opportunities for gross motor and fine motor skill development through structured physical activities, outdoor play, and sensory experiences. - Maintain a Safe Environment:
Ensure the safety and well‑being of all children by adhering to health and safety guidelines, monitoring the preschool environment, and addressing any safety concerns promptly. - Communicate with Parents:
Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing updates on their child's progress, milestones, and achievements, and addressing any questions, concerns, or feedback in a timely and respectful manner.
- Experience in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field required.
- Previous experience working with preschool‑aged children in a classroom setting preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles, theories, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to starting the position.
