The Deployment Center Technician is responsible for the proper configuration, testing, calibration, functional completion, and quality control of projects. In this role, you would ensure customer audio, video, electronic communications, and presentation systems equipment are fully compliant with FORTÉstandards and project design specifications.
The role will possess training in industry & manufacturer-specific principles. This individual will work closely with assigned project managers, design engineers, and control system programmers to complete the planning, integration, testing, and customer acceptance of the assigned project within the time and budget parameters of the project.
Responsibilities- Configure, test, calibrate, and ensure functional completion and quality control of projects.
- Ensure customer audio, video, electronic communications, and presentation systems equipment are compliant with FORTÉ standards and project design specifications.
- Collaborate with assigned project managers, design engineers, and control system programmers to plan, integrate, test, and facilitate customer acceptance within project time and budget parameters.
- Computer literacy skills, IP networking skills, DSP programming and control systems loading familiarity are required.
- A minimum of 3 years of industry service/install and/or commissioning experience or equivalent technical training background
- Aptitude to read and understand building construction blueprints
- The ability to make sound decisions based on budget and customer satisfaction through the execution of being proficient utilizing the FORTÉ Enterprise Installation Standards and processes is critical for job success.
- CTS and CTS-I certifications preferred. Additional training or certifications in DSPs, Networking and Control Systems are also a plus. (Ex: Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Dante, CCNA, CompTIA etc.)
