Interim Controller

Corner Stone Professional Placement is seeking an Interim Controller based in Flower Mound, TX. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, revenue recognition, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong accrual-based accounting experience, full close cycle knowledge, and the ability to lead a small accounting team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $123,000 - $150,000 annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Setup: Flower Mound, TX - 100% Onsite

• Oversee accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, billing, and revenue recognition
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budget analysis
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Support executive leadership with financial reporting and operational insights
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff

• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Strong accrual accounting and revenue recognition experience
• Full close cycle experience required
• Quick Books Online experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• CPA/CMA preferred but not required
• Strong communication and leadership skills
