In this energetic role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Duties- Implement individualized ABA treatment programs under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children with autism in clinic, home, or community settings
- Collect accurate and detailed data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Follow behavior intervention plans, including reinforcement, prompting, and redirection strategies
- Assist in developing daily session notes and maintaining documentation requirements
- Communicate progress, challenges, and observations to supervising BCBAs
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
- Support generalization of skills across environments through play-based and naturalistic teaching
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in line with BACB guidelines and Pedia Plex expectations
- Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain-Pedia Plex provides training!)
- High school diploma required;
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred - Experience working with children, especially in special education or behavior therapy, is a plus
- Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Ability to accept supervision, implement feedback, and work collaboratively
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to move frequently: sit, stand, walk, kneel, crawl, bend, etc.
- Adequate vision and hearing to observe behavior and track data
- Ability to use tablets, computers, and therapy materials
- Ability to drive/travel between multiple locations (if necessary).
