Role DescriptionThe Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Flower Mound, TX. This role oversees day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. The Human Resources Manager collaborates with leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business goals, such as retention strategies, training programs, and organizational development efforts.
Daily responsibilities include maintaining HR records, managing benefits and payroll coordination with relevant teams, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The role also involves creating and updating HR procedures, supporting managers with coaching and policy interpretation, and monitoring HR metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong skills in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management, with experience developing effective hiring and retention practices.
- Proficiency in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management to support a constructive and inclusive work environment.
- Working knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and policy development, with the ability to maintain accurate and confidential HR records.
- Experience with HRIS systems, benefits administration, and coordination with payroll to ensure smooth HR operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to partner effectively with employees, managers, and leadership.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrated ability to support training and development initiatives, including creating or facilitating HR-related workshops and resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
- Previous experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR generalist role, ideally within logistics, transportation, or a similar industry.
