Position Summary

Business Analyst - Data Intelligence will support cross-functional business initiatives through thoughtful analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement. This role will serve as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams-translating complex problems into actionable solutions that support data-driven decision-making, system enhancements, and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions and Duties
  • Gather and document detailed business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
  • Analyze business processes, workflows, and system functionality to identify areas for improvement or automation.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Partner with IT, engineering, product, and analytics teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions to ensure alignment on priorities, project scope, and solution design.
  • Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments related to new features, enhancements, or system changes.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), validating requirements and ensuring final deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Support project delivery using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning where applicable.
  • Create documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support successful implementation and adoption of new tools or processes.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for live systems and ongoing business processes as needed.
  • Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.
  • Display dedication to position responsibilities and achieve assigned goals and objectives.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or four (4) years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Required Knowledge
  • Familiarity with process modeling, workflow design, or use case documentation tools (e.g., "Lucidchart", Visio, Jira, Confluence).
  • Solid understanding of systems or data lifecycle, and how technology supports business processes.
Preferred Knowledge
  • Exposure to data platforms, reporting tools, or business intelligence (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
  • Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Workday.
  • Experience in domains such as finance, supply chain, customer operations, or compliance is a plus.
