The Policy Service Representative will provide exemplary customer service in a fast paced, high call volume environment. The representative will display effective time management and sound decision-making abilities. The representative will deliver meticulous underwriting with attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements in accordance with company guidelines.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission or policy issuance.
- Maintain policy records and documentation in system databases accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to inquiries from agents, brokers, and internal teams regarding policy status or documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to ensure policy servicing aligns with underwriting intent.
- Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and correspondence related to policy servicing activities.
- Ensure adherence to company policy, regulatory requirements, and service-level agreements.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2 or more years of experience in insurance operations, policy servicing, or a related administrative role.
- Demonstrated understanding of policy administration processes and systems.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Auto insurance knowledge (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data entry.
- Proficiency in policy administration systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies in policy servicing activities.
