Project Equipment Manager
This position oversees the planning, maintenance, and management of the company’s equipment fleet, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across all operations. The role also provides leadership and direction to the maintenance team, promoting professional growth, accountability, and a strong culture of safety and collaboration.
All Construction Division offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen. In accordance with client requirements, security clearance is required and is determined based on background check results.
Responsibilities- Prioritize safety and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and manage short- and long-term equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Oversee the purchase, sale, maintenance, and utilization of the equipment fleet to ensure reliability, longevity, and cost efficiency.
- Understand parts and service manuals to facilitate accurate diagnostics and timely repairs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and team performance.
- Train, mentor, and develop entry-level maintenance staff to strengthen the team’s capabilities.
- Foster effective communication across all levels of the organization, including field crews, project management, and leadership teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Construction Management, Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- 15+ years of experience in equipment management or a related field.
- Proficiency with Spectrum and HCSS
. - Ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cranes, barges, and marine construction equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel and relocate as required.
- Follow all safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Be flexible and adaptable to varying work schedules, including overtime and weekends as required.
- Ability to work in diverse locations and varying environmental conditions.
- Pay Range: $99,916 - $133,909 (DOE)
