Position Title

Community Health & Strategy Intern – Senior Home Safety Pilot

Location

North Dallas / Hybrid (Flower Mound area)

Duration

12–16 weeks (15–20 hours per week)

About the Program

We are launching a 100–300 household pilot program focused on improving senior home safety and reducing fall risks for aging family members.

This initiative combines:

  • Community health impact
  • Data collection & analysis
  • Business strategy
  • Employer-sponsored wellness programs

You will work directly with the Founder/CEO in building and measuring a real-world pilot program.

What You Will Do
  • Support communication with participating households
  • Collect and organize pre- and post-home modification data
  • Assist in tracking fall-risk indicators and reporting outcomes
  • Conduct basic data analysis and prepare executive summaries
  • Research and support outreach to senior care partners
  • Help develop presentation materials for corporate clients
  • Identify, research, and prioritize potential partners, including city/county programs, universities, public health departments, medical advisors and nonprofits related to aging, senior services, housing, and community health
  • Develop outreach materials and support communication (emails, call scripts, one-pagers, follow-ups) to initiate partnership conversations
  • Schedule and coordinate partnership meetings, prepare agendas, and document next steps and action items
  • Prepare proposals, partnership decks, and program summaries for stakeholder engagement
  • Coordinate pilot-related collaboration activities (community events, volunteer programs, university internship collaborations, etc.)
  • Collect and summarize feedback from partners to improve program design and implementation

[IMPORTANT] The most time-consuming activities will be recruiting senior participants, managing communication, and conducting visits. Therefore, activities in the North Dallas area will likely require about 3–5 days per week
, which is expected to account for approximately 85% of the total time
. Data analysis, on the other hand, will not require as much time.

What You Will Gain
  • Hands‑on experience in a real community health pilot
  • Direct mentorship from a CEO with international healthcare and MBA background
  • Experience working with real performance metrics (ROI, fall rate tracking)
  • Exposure to strategy, operations, and community partnership development
  • Letter of recommendation upon successful completion
Preferred Background
  • Public Health
  • Healthcare Administration
  • Business / Strategy
  • Data Analytics
  • Pre‑med / Health‑related majors
Compensation

$16–$20 per hour (depending on experience)
