The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest needs over tasks.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set, maintain and change sales floor merchandise displays and keep organized backroom space.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for guests and improve their experience.
• Comply with federal, state and local adult beverage laws as they apply to your business.
• Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely; comply with safety policies, report hazards and take corrective action where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-Up (DU) while maintaining compliance with laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Thank guests and confirm they chose to shop at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
