Role Description

The Assistant Coach role at Rally House is a full-time, on-site position based in Flower Mound, TX. The Assistant Coach supports daily store operations, including assisting with opening and closing procedures, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring a clean, organized, and engaging store environment. This role helps lead and coach store associates, providing guidance on customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques to create an exceptional experience for every guest.

The Assistant Coach assists with training new team members, supporting scheduling needs, and helping to achieve sales goals and key performance metrics. This position also contributes to inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise, and may participate in in-store events and promotions that celebrate local teams and fan culture.

Qualifications
  • Retail or customer service experience, preferably in apparel, sporting goods, or specialty retail.
  • Leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles, merchandising, and inventory processes.
  • Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Enthusiasm for sports and local teams, and an interest in helping fans express their team spirit.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or retail training is a plus.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move merchandise as required for store operations.
