Outside Sales Representative

Paye Load is a software platform created by and for the blue-collar workforce to reduce the time and money lost on hardware-store trips and supply runs. Built by professionals with firsthand field experience, Paye Load helps hardware stores, building-material suppliers, construction suppliers, and other supply companies offer flexible, reliable delivery solutions to their customers while improving efficiency, reducing downtime, and keeping projects moving.

The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time position based in Flower Mound, TX. This role focuses on identifying, contacting, and building partnerships with hardware stores, building-material suppliers, construction suppliers, and other supply companies that could benefit from Paye Load’s platform and delivery services.

The representative will conduct in-person and phone meetings, deliver tailored sales presentations, follow up with prospective partners, and develop new business relationships. This person will maintain strong relationships with existing supply partners, collaborate with internal teams to address partner needs, meet sales targets, and represent Paye Load at industry events and gatherings.

This position requires weekly overnight air travel. The Outside Sales Representative works from the Flower Mound office on Mondays and Fridays, flies to the assigned sales territory on Tuesday, and returns Thursday evening. Tuesday through Thursday are spent meeting with supply companies, delivering presentations, developing partnerships, and pursuing new business.

• Strong communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to clearly explain Paye Load’s value to supply-company owners, managers, and decision-makers.
• Experience in sales presentations and new-business development, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, following up, and closing deals.
• Proven relationship-building skills and a partnership-focused approach to supporting long-term accounts.
• Previous experience in outside sales, field sales, wholesale distribution, building materials, hardware, construction supplies, or a related industry is preferred.
• Ability and willingness to fly weekly, stay overnight Tuesday and Wednesday, return Thursday evening, and work from the Flower Mound office on Mondays and Fridays.
• Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage appointments, contacts, and territory activity independently.
• High level of self-motivation, professionalism, goal orientation, and resilience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is a plus.
