Location: North Dallas / DFW Area, TX
Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 / hour based on experience

Tru Blue Home Service Ally is looking for an Experienced Technician to support flooring installation and handyman projects, including Magic Shield flooring installations at hospitals, assisted living communities, memory care facilities, rehabilitation facilities, and other commercial properties.

If you have 5+ years of professional flooring, remodeling, construction, or handyman experience and take pride in delivering quality work, we want to talk to you.

• 5+ years of paid experience in flooring, remodeling, carpentry, construction, or professional handyman services.
• Experience performing work on commercial projects
  , preferably hospitals, senior living communities, healthcare facilities, offices, retail properties, or other commercial environments.
• Experience with multiple types of flooring installation and repair
  .
• Experience with flooring removal, subfloor preparation, installation, transitions, finishing, and related repairs.
• General handyman skills including drywall, carpentry, remodeling, minor plumbing, and minor electrical work
  .
• Ability to follow installation instructions and project specifications.
• Strong attention to workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and customer property.
• Ability to work professionally in occupied commercial, healthcare, and senior-care environments.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a technician team.
• Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and appropriate tools.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Perform Magic Shield flooring installations and other flooring projects.
• Remove existing flooring and prepare surfaces for installation when required.
• Install flooring materials according to project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
• Assist the Lead Technician with commercial installation projects.
• Identify field conditions or installation problems and report them to the Lead Technician or project manager.
• Perform general handyman, repair, and remodeling work as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Protect customer property and minimize disruption during work.
• Provide professional and courteous service to facility staff, residents, patients, and customers.
