SDET Engineer

Interview- in person It is 5 days onsite role in TX

We are looking for an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong Type Script skills and hands‑on experience building automation using Playwright
. You will design and develop scalable test frameworks, automate end‑to‑end UI/API test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and help drive quality across the SDLC.

• Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright + Type Script
• Develop reusable automation components (Page Object Model / fixtures / utilities)
• Automate UI and API test coverage and expand regression suites
• Integrate automation into CI/CD and ensure reliable test execution/reporting
• Collaborate with developers/product/QA to define test strategy and acceptance criteria
• Identify, triage, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and logs
• Improve test stability: reduce flakiness, optimize runtime, enhance debugging

• Strong automation experience with Playwright (preferred) and Type Script
• Solid understanding of testing concepts: functional, regression, smoke, integration
• Experience with version control (Git) and working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, Git Lab CI)
• Ability to write clean, maintainable automation code and perform code reviews

• API testing (Playwright API, REST, Postman, Pact, etc.)
• Experience with test reporting (Allure, Playwright HTML reporter, JUnit)
• Performance/basic load testing exposure (k6, JMeter)
• Cloud & containers (Docker, AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with accessibility testing and visual testing
