Material Handler, Forklift Operator
We are hiring a Warehouse Worker in Flower Mound, TX for ongoing opportunities. This is a full‑time position with weekly pay and benefits.
Position SummaryDependable and safety‑minded Warehouse Worker to join the architectural coatings distribution team at The Pittsburgh Paints Co. Duties include receiving, storing, picking, shipping, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Follow established procedures to safely unload various pallets, totes, drums, etc.
- Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Receive and put away inventory following established processes.
- Follow all dock and safety procedures associated with entering trailers.
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Assist with training other employees.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to safely operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stand‑up and sit‑down lift equipment.
- Ability to wear required protective gear (gloves, safety glasses, bump hats, and other PPE).
- Must have proven experience operating handheld RF scanners in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Capability of working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
- Available to work overtime and some Saturdays.
- Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to pass a standard physical abilities test to ensure you can meet the physical demands of the job.
- Must successfully complete and pass a drug screening.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
