Job Description
Join medmix and play a key role in ensuring the success of our operations in the U.S. and global markets by delivering reliable, cost-effective, and efficient products and services.
As a Metrologist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust measurement systems that support the quality and performance of our manufacturing processes. This includes working with device layouts, materials, information flow, and equipment setup.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive continuous improvement by analyzing system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization, and implementing solutions that increase production efficiency. You will also play a critical part in ensuring that all systems involved in manufacturing meet established quality standards.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about precision, quality, and continuous improvement, and who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Main accountabilities and tasks
Work experience:
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Read and understand mechanical drawings including GD&T
- Understand and lead statistical analysis
- Coordinate, create, and modify inspection routines on CMM for current and new components
Other skills and knowledge:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to communicate effectively on deviations to specifications
- Strong organizational skills and analytical mindset
- Initiative-taking and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of mechanical inspection methods and tools used to determine product acceptance
