Location:

Flowery Branch, GA | Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

The Custodian will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of the assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to the supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Maintain a clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers
• Fill in during staff shortages
• Support shift lead in completing punch‑list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction expectations
• Understand reporting systems and environmental requirements
• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform repetitive tasks

Education and/or

Experience:

No specific education requirement; 3-6 months of training or experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bilingual a plus
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
