**** Overview:
** Machine Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as work in a safe manner following all safety policies and procedures. Performing setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment. Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work orders are also required.

Maintaining and logging all information required supporting traceability and quality, participating in cross-training activities, maintaining work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition, and performing other duties as required or directed.

* Required:
*** High school diploma, GED
* 2 year manufacturing machine operation requirement
* Prior manufacturing experience with the ability to prioritize and pay close attention to detail
* Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, and bending is required
* Must be able to work independently and distinguish colors
* Must be able to use and read a micrometer
* The ability to demonstrate your mechanical and computer skills
* Must have good English skills in reading, writing and communicating
* Must be able to work in a team environment and to work overtime as the need arises
* Must be able to pass background check and drug test
** Preferred:
*** Prior extrusion experience preferred
* Wire drawing/extrusion/cabling experience
** Work Environment/Physical Demands:
*** Prior extrusion experience preferred
* Will be required to stand, walk, and bend frequently.
* Occasionally lifting < 10pounds as needed
* Occasionally required to lift and carry objects of 10-25 pounds as needed.
* Occasionally required to lift and carry objects of 25-30 pounds as needed.
* Frequently required to lift and carry objects of 30-50 pounds as needed.
* Occasionally required to push and pull reels.
