Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain machines and equipment while adhering to all quality and safety standards.
- Demonstrate and understand the functions and basic mechanical workings of assigned machines under limited supervision.
- Follow work order instructions and perform labeling requirements.
- Perform quality tests per ISO procedures.
- Adhere to productivity standards.
- Comply with all required safety practices and use of PPE.
- Contribute primarily through execution of defined processes and procedures but may make suggestions for process improvement.
- Resolve a variety of problems of limited complexity by following highly detailed instructions or procedures.
- Transmit and receive basic information related to the role in order to carry out duties.
- Build productive working relationships internally, generally within immediate department or team.
- Learn policies and procedures and how to apply them to issues experienced in routine activities.
- Learn and closely follow established processes and directions.
- Receive direct supervision for routine work, new projects or assignments.
- Train other team members directed by supervisor or lead.
- Follow Zebra shared values.
- High School or Equivalent.
- 1+ years of related experience operating finishing and/or label converting equipment (die cutting, laminating, slitting, etc).
- Excellent mechanical abilities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Able to work effectively with others.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to work with light to medium machinery.
Evening Shift: Monday - Friday 3PM - 11PM
Wage: $18.00
In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
