What You'll Do:
- Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure safety and quality
- Maintain precise records using website chart recorders and other documentation tools
- Support our quality systems to uphold product standards
- Communicate effectively with production team members for smooth shift transitions
- Assist with technical maintenance activities when needed
- Monitor raw materials and supplies to sustain efficient production flow
- Manage packaging materials and communicate resource needs for replenishment
- Determine acceptable quality ranges on packaging and coordinate with QA, pre-weight, palletizing, and warehouse teams
- Lead or participate in daily operations meetings to ensure smooth production flow
- Oversee startup and shutdown procedures on the production line
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in operating various types of machinery, including forklift operation
- Routine maintenance and safety compliance knowledge
- Ability to follow strict safety regulations and procedures
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with computer-operated or automated machinery
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes in manufacturing
Preferred
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or similar industries is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials as part of daily operations
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed
