Job Summary

The Truck Driver is responsible for hauling materials and equipment to and from job sites. Drivers may also be tasked with assisting the crews by offloading materials at various locations within a work site to increase job efficiency. This position supports the Line team and works with personnel within various departments.

Responsibilities

• Haul equipment and materials to and from the job site as well as from pole to pole safely.
• Perform all groundwork, preparing necessary materials for Linemen.
• Prepare safe work zones with the use of signs, cones, etc.
• Assist in the training of new truck drivers.

Qualifications

Minimum

High school diploma, or equivalent.

CDL Class A license.

Preferred

• 2 or more years of relevant driving experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job operates in a field environment and requires bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, and twisting. Working in inclement weather is common. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Good vision and color distinction are required.
