Healthcare Consulting Intern - Spring 2027

At Carr, Riggs & Ingram (CRI), we are dedicated to integrating professional passions with personal pursuits. The internship offers hands‑on consulting and management advisory experience under senior supervision.

• Provide a variety of consulting and management advisory services under the supervision of a Senior, Manager, or Partner.
• Obtain an understanding of the client’s business and industry as well as a working knowledge of the client’s system cycles and account balances that are within the scope of specifically assigned tasks.
• Obtain an understanding of the work to be performed and the purpose of the work.
• Perform services within budgeted time by developing technical, time management and organizational skills.
• Prepare working papers which adequately document the tests performed and procedures followed to substantiate conclusions reached.

• Must be enrolled as a student in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
