Payroll Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Flowood, Mississippi for a Contract position. This opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys accurate data entry, organized document handling, and supporting payroll operations in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on maintaining employee payroll information, reviewing technician time records, and helping ensure payroll documents are complete and properly recorded.

Responsibilities:

- Review and enter technician timecard information with a high level of accuracy to support payroll processing.

- Add new employee details into payroll records and verify that required information is complete.

- Scan, organize, and maintain payroll-related documents for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.

- Prepare and input certified payroll information for technician work in accordance with reporting needs.

- Assist with routine payroll processing tasks to help ensure employees are paid correctly and on schedule.

- Perform high-volume data entry while maintaining accuracy and consistency across payroll records.

- Identify missing or incomplete payroll information and follow up as needed to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

- Experience with payroll support or payroll data entry in a detail-focused setting.

- Ability to process large volumes of information accurately and efficiently.

- Familiarity with employee timesheets, payroll records, and related documentation.

- Comfortable scanning, filing, and organizing payroll documents.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy.

- Basic proficiency with computer systems and data entry tools used in payroll administration.
