Holifield Pest Management is seeking a dependable, organized, and personable Customer Service Representative to support customers and team members across multiple office locations. This position includes customer service, scheduling, sales support, billing assistance, customer retention, administrative duties, and selected marketing and public‑relations projects. We are looking for someone who communicates well, remains calm under pressure, enjoys helping people, and is comfortable learning new technology.

The position may be shaped around the successful candidate’s strengths, talents, and long‑term potential.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Communication

  • Answer inbound phone calls, emails, text messages, and online inquiries.
  • Respond to customer questions about pest control services, pricing, appointments, and treatment preparation.
  • Communicate professionally with customers who may be concerned, frustrated, or experiencing an active pest problem.
  • Provide clear and accurate information while representing the company in a positive manner.

Scheduling and Routing

  • Schedule pest control services, inspections, follow‑up visits, and sales appointments.
  • Coordinate technician routes to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary travel.
  • Balance customer preferences with technician availability and geographic routing.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delays, appointment changes, and rescheduling needs.

Customer Retention and Issue Resolution

  • Serve as a customer advocate when complaints or service concerns arise.
  • Investigate customer issues and work toward fair and practical solutions.
  • Process cancellation requests while making reasonable efforts to retain customers.
  • Follow up with dissatisfied customers and help restore confidence in the company.
  • Escalate serious concerns to management when appropriate.

Sales Support

  • Turn general inquiries into scheduled inspections or booked services.
  • Identify appropriate opportunities to recommend additional services, including termite protection, lawn care, rodent control, mosquito control, or other pest‑management services.
  • Assist with customer follow‑up, lead management, promotional campaigns, and sales‑related communication.
  • Help ensure that sales opportunities are accurately documented and assigned.

Billing and Administrative Support

  • Process customer payments and assist with billing questions.
  • Help customers understand invoices, balances, service agreements, and payment options.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in Field Routes and other company systems.
  • Assist with accounts receivable, customer statements, documentation, data entry, and general office duties.
  • Coordinate information between customers, technicians, sales representatives, office staff, and management.

Marketing, Public Relations, and Special Projects

  • Assist company leadership with assigned marketing, public‑relations, customer‑engagement, recruiting, and business‑development projects.
  • Help create or distribute customer communications, promotional materials, and company updates.
  • Participate in special projects based on the employee’s talents, interests, and abilities.
  • Learn new responsibilities as the position develops.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Patience, professionalism, and empathy when working with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think quickly and resolve scheduling, service, or billing concerns.
  • Comfortable using computers, multi‑line phone systems, CRM platforms, and business software.
  • Ability to learn Field Routes and other company systems.
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting a team.
  • Willingness to accept coaching, learn new skills, and take on additional responsibility.
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing.
