The Physician Assistant Program at Mississippi State University's Meridian campus invites applicants for a time-limited, non-tenure track position as Lecturer. This role will be responsible for teaching or course development.

Master of Physician Assistant Studies
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Development, delivery and assessment of current, objective-driven course material.
- Student performance evaluation.
- Early identification of students struggling to achieve course and program learning outcomes.
- Development and implementation of remediation plans and early intervention plans of action.
- Successful applicants will hold a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Qualified through academic preparation (advanced degree or other academic background) and/or experience to teach clinical pharmacology at the master's degree level.
- Recent practical expertise is required.
- Classroom or clinical teaching experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with physician assistant scope of practice and ability-based curriculum is a plus.
- Ability to be an effective educator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Commitment to student success.
No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.
