Reading for Information score of 4, Applied Mathematics score of 4, and a Writing or Business Writing score of 3.

Building Principal
DUTIES- Works under the guidance of certified teachers.
- Assists in supervising students through the day's activities.
- Is supervised in creating individualized learning materials and modifying existing curriculum for access to general education.
- Implements motor/mobility plans given by Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist while under the supervision of a certified teacher.
- Assists group at lunch/recess and assists with specified accommodations.
- Performs routine clerical duties such as: duplication of learning materials, bulletin boards, inventories, filing, etc.
- Assists with personal care (example: toileting, feeding, etc.).
- Supervises students for a limited amount of time during classroom hours.
- Follows specified lesson plans assigned each day for daily activities from the certified teacher.
- Attends professional development offered by the Special Education Department.
- Serves as a member of the IEP team for students served.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Principal and/or the Director of Special Education.
180 days, salary as established by the Board of Education.
EVALUATIONPerformance in this position should be evaluated regularly by the Principal and/or Director of Special Education in accordance with provisions established by the board of Education.
AREAS EVALUATED INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO- Reinforces skills taught by speech therapist, and/or certified general/special education teacher as well as Positive Behavior Support.
- Assists students with organizational skills, homework, and assessments.
- Monitors and provides assistance during seatwork activities.
