Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to provide high-quality private and group lessons in our retail store. In this part-time role, you'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, and prepare students for performances and school programs. You'll collaborate with store staff to support rentals, accessories, and events while promoting a positive, student-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans aligned with student goals and school programs
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and auditions
• Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Maintain an organized, student-focused teaching studio within the retail store
• Collaborate with store staff to support rentals, instrument sales, and accessories
• Promote lesson programs and student enrollment through in-store engagement
• Ensure proper care, handling, and basic troubleshooting of instruments
• Use digital tools or software for scheduling, materials, and student tracking
• Uphold Music & Arts' policies and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture
