Civil Engineer

Our client is a highly respected, engineering firm in Flowood, MS seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Site Development team. This role works closely with private clients, architects, and contractors on a wide range of commercial and residential projects throughout Mississippi.

This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on design work, project ownership, and seeing their plans come to life in the field.

• Design and manage site development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layouts
• Perform water flow and stormwater calculations, including detention and retention pond design
• Create and revise civil construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Coordinate with private clients, architects, contractors, and municipalities
• Support permitting and regulatory approvals
• Provide construction phase support, including site visits, RFIs, and plan revisions

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 2–3+ years of site development experience
• Strong experience with:
• Water flow & stormwater systems
• MUST HAVE:
  AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Experience working with private clients, architects, and contractors
• EIT or PE
