Responsibilities
The Therapist is responsible for serving as the first point of contact for clients, answering calls promptly and courteously, and scheduling clinical assessments when appropriate.
- Conduct thorough assessments, facilitate admissions, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Provide a caring, professional approach while coordinating access to the optimal level of care and referring to external providers when necessary.
Minimum: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years’ experience in an in‑patient psychiatric setting.
Preferred: Current Mississippi license as an LCSW, LMSW, or LPC; and two years’ experience in an in‑patient psychiatric setting.
