Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift travel position in Flowood, MS, requiring Cerner experience and a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit (Main Hospital, Unit/Floor
2),

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,

• 3/2 rotating split schedule (alternating 4 shifts one week, 3 the next),

• Alternating weekend requirement,

• Patient ratio of 6:1,

• Cerner EMR in use,

• 8-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Mississippi or Compact) required,

• Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start,

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required,

• Cerner EMR experience required,

• Must permanently reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

• Valid driver's license required for consideration,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position,

• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration,

• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded; standard experience requirements apply,
