Dishwasher​/Steward

Overview

As a Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher you will carry out general cleaning duties and operate pot‑washing machinery to deliver an excellent guest experience. You will keep back‑of‑house areas clean, observe occupational safety, health and hygiene regulations, and meet company cleaning standards.

• Operate pot‑washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordance with hygiene regulations and company standards.
• Carry out general cleaning as directed, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and emptying rubbish bins and placing waste in correct containers.
• Ensure all kitchen and back‑of‑house areas are kept clean and that equipment is cleaned according to the cleaning schedule.
• Observe health, hygiene, and safety guidelines when handling hazardous substances and comply with all aspects of health and safety requirements.
• Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty.
• Carry out any other reasonable task set by the hotel’s management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
