SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
This position will be responsible for the proper fabrication and assembling of metal parts and structures.
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts and structures according to technical drawings and quality standards
- Loads and logs materials onto truck and documents returned materials
- Able to read templates as per job specifications
- Drill and install all hardware accurately as per job specifications
- Attach all necessary hardware correctly as per job specifications
- Inspect finished products for accuracy
- Maintain a well-organized, clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of initiatives
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical or vocational training in metal fabrication, welding or machining
- 1 to 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
- Ability to multi-task and work within specified time frames
- Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment
- Ability to problem-solve a plus
- Previous work experience in the construction or distribution industry a plus
