Role and Responsibilities
Production Technician supports the manufacturing of spinal medical devices. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging of medical devices, ensuring adherence to quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and company procedures.
This position is on 2nd shift, Monday
- Thursday, 2:00PM- 12 AM
- Assemble, inspect, and test spinal medical devices according to specified work instructions and quality standards.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of production machinery.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure products meet regulatory and quality control standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
- Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, inspections, and testing results.
- Work closely with engineers and supervisors to identify and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality output.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking materials and components required for production.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technical certification preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production role, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and sterile manufacturing practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Knowledge of medical device manufacturing standards and regulations, including ISO and FDA guidelines.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
- Ability to operate production machinery and tools, with a focus on precision and quality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
