Disassembly Technician
We have an immediate need for a Disassembly Technician at our Trace Aviation facility in Jackson, MS.
Job Purpose
The Disassembly Technician role will involve disassembling, cleaning, and removing primer/paint coatings from various aircraft landing gear components and parts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Essential Job Functions:
- Utilize manufacturers and internal technical data to properly disassemble and clean aircraft landing gear components and parts.
- Ensure proper organization and segregation of disassembled components.
- Document status/results/completion in internal computer database programs.
Working Conditions
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 50 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Work Location: PAG Offices On-Site
Education/Training: Task-specific training will be provided.
Experience: No specific experience required but general mechanical experience preferred.
