We are looking for a dynamic Utilization Review Coordinator to join our team!

Monday - Friday 8A - 4:30P

Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120-bed acute psychiatric care facility located in Flowood, Mississippi. We are accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified by Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE. We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more.

Position Summary:

Proactively monitors utilization of continuum of services and optimize reimbursement for Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare. Monitors adherence to the hospital's utilization review plan to ensure the effective and efficient use of hospital services and monitor the appropriateness of hospital admissions and extended hospital stays.

Minimum:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi. 1-3 years of psychiatric experience required.

Preferred: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 3 - 5 years experience in psychiatric setting.
