American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring Cerner experience and a compact RN license.

• Work in the Main Hospital unit of a hospital setting
• Medical-Surgical patient population with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3/2 split schedule with 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next
• Alternating weekend requirement
• Overtime applies after 48 hours worked
• 8-week contract assignment

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Cerner EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care within a hospital environment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
