Position Summary

As the RN Shift Manager, you will oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift, providing clinical leadership, staff supervision, and operational coordination to ensure safe, efficient, and exceptional resident care. You will serve as a resource for nursing staff while promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous quality improvement.

Full-Time

11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations during the assigned shift.
  • Assess staffing levels and resident care needs to ensure safe and effective operations.
  • Coordinate daily nursing activities and communicate priorities across the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Supervise, mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff while promoting professional development.
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered nursing care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
  • Promote compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and provide guidance to nursing staff throughout the shift.
Qualifications Licensure
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Mississippi.
Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification is a plus.
Experience
  • Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience required.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and coordinate nursing operations.
  • Experience motivating teams and working collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
