Job Description Summary

Outside Sales Representative – HVAC & Commercial.

As an Outside Sales Representative for Sunbelt Rentals Climate Control Service, you will be responsible for renting and selling our diverse line of portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers and temporary heaters within the assigned territory. The typical customer base consists of commercial customers, contractors and event companies.

• Rent and sell portable air conditioning, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers and temporary heaters to a mix of commercial customers.
• Cultivate existing accounts and develop new ones.
• Collaborate with the General Tool Division and other Specialty Divisions to provide turnkey solutions.
• Work closely with Sales Reps and Managers across the organization to maximize penetration of new and existing customers.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in equipment rental or HVAC industry.
• 2+ years of direct sales experience.
• Current valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Project management, new business development and customer retention skills.

• Sales track record in solution‑selling approach.
• Experience with high volume sales.

The physical demands require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Base Pay: $40,000.00 – $58,168.00. Total compensation package includes base pay, company vehicle, and a robust commission plan.
