Outside Sales Representative - Climate Control

Job Summary

Outside Sales Representative – HVAC & Commercial. Responsibilities include renting and selling portable air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and temporary heaters within an assigned territory. The role involves cultivating existing accounts, developing new ones, and collaborating with Sunbelt’s General Tool Division and other Specialty Divisions to provide turn‑key solutions.

• Rent and sell a diverse line of HVAC equipment to commercial customers, contractors, and event companies.
• Cultivate existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with General Tool and Specialty Divisions to provide turnkey solutions.
• Work closely with Sales Representatives and Managers to maximize penetration within the customer base.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in equipment rental or HVAC industry.
• At least 2 years of direct sales experience.
• Current valid driver’s license in good standing and proof of auto insurance.
• Project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.

• Sales track record with a solution‑selling approach.
• High volume sales experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 25 pounds or more. Work required both indoors and outdoors as needed.

Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 – $58,168.00. Total compensation includes base pay, company vehicle, and robust commission plan.
