** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and warehouse location.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, access, and/or hazard concerns for reporting.

+ Monitor access control points by verifying identification and visitor purpose, issuing temporary credentials when directed, and directing vendors, drivers, and guests to the appropriate check-in and/or staging areas.

+ Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating to site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.

+ Complete written and electronic reports, including shift activity logs, patrol documentation, and incident reports, and communicate key updates to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or client representatives.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
