We are looking for an experienced Lead Electrician to supervise crews and perform hands‑on electrical work on commercial and industrial projects. This role combines leadership and field work to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
Job SummaryThe Lead Electrician oversees daily electrical work, assigns tasks, supports team members, and works closely with project managers and other trades. You will lead by example while maintaining safety and productivity.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan daily and weekly work activities
Supervise and support crews of electricians and apprentices
Install conduit, panels, lighting, switch gear, and wiring
Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment
Ensure all work meets code and safety standards
Lead safety meetings and enforce PPE and LOTO rules
Coordinate with contractors and inspectors
Order and manage materials and tools
Train and mentor apprentices
Help with testing, punch lists, and project closeout
Required
5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience
Previous leadership or foreman experience
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices
Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
Skilled with testing tools (multimeter, megger)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in field conditions
Preferred
Journeyman or Master Electrician license
OSHA 10/30 certification
Experience with generators, VFDs, and motor controls
Experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or data centers
