Google Software Engineering Internship, MS, Winter, USA
Google is inviting applications for a Software Engineering Internship for the winter season of 2026. This program offers a unique 12–14 week paid internship, personal and professional development, an executive speaker series, and community building. Interns will work on complex computer science solutions, develop scalable distributed software systems, and collaborate on multiple projects that have universal appeal.
EligibilityApplicants must be currently enrolled in a full‑time bachelor’s or master’s degree program in computer science or a related technical field, and will return to or enroll in a full‑time master’s degree program after completion of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications- Authorization to legally work in the United States.
- Experience with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, large software system development, and/or security software development.
- Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
